Eligibility for UG courses
Bachelor of Arts (B.A)
- The student must have passed the qualifying examination le Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent with at least 45% marks from a recognized board.
- As per the University rules a gap of two years between the year of passing the qualifying examination and year of admission is allowed. However, there is a provision to deduct 10 marks for one year gap and 15 marks for two year gap. (The student has to produce an affidavit from Notary in the given format at the time of counseling)
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
- For admission in B.Sc., Biology and Math group is available. Therefore, candidates with mathematics in Intermediate are not eligible for admission in B.Sc. Bio. However, they can apply for admission in B.A.
- For Admission in B.Sc. Mathematics the students who have taken mathematics in INTERMEDIATE are Eligible
- They have secured at least 45% Marks in their 10+2 Course.
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
- Students of any stream are Eligible for admission in B.Com course, if they secure minimum 45%
Marks in their 10+2 course.
- As per the university notification, even the students of Bio and Arts group are eligible to take admission in B.Com.
Note:
Admission is based on merit. The merit index is prepared as under
Merit Index = Marks obtained in Intermediate + Weightage - Deduction for gap year (s)
- Reservation policy of state government is taken into consideration while making the merit list.
Eligibility for PG Courses
- The student must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Graduation (Three-year Degree Course) or its equivalent from a recognized University.
- As per the University rules a gap of two years between the year of passing the qualifying examination and year of admission is allowed. However, there is a provision to deduct 10 marks for one year gap and 15 marks for two year gap. (The student has to produce an affidavit in the given format at the time of counselling)
- Admission is based on merit. The merit index is prepared as under:
Merit Index = Marks obtained in Graduation + Marks obtained in the concerned subject in Graduation + Weightage of marks - Deduction for gap year(s)
- A weightage of 10 marks in graduation shall be given to those students who have passed the
Graduation from this college
- The candidates are required to apply separately for each subject.
